o.v.t.o.g and Young Lives Blackpool

O.V.T.O.G, or ‘Only Visible To Other Ghosts’ is the brainchild of Young Lives Blackpool and stems from a documentary around a young ‘Goth’ man who said he felt like he ‘could only be seen by people like’ him. We didn’t like this and are striving to bring a brand that all people can wear. A brand that says we aren’t so different and we can all be friends, especially young people who can find friendships and connecting with others difficult.

Young Lives Blackpool which is our parent company is a Community Interest Company (CIC) working on the Fylde coast of England and all profits from O.V.T.O.G go into the support of young people in the town. The best part is they guide us where to spend it. They also have a chance to create their own side hustle through our ‘Blackpool Creatives’ page!

We are actively seeking young designers, entrepreneurs and creatives. So if you want to join us, Ask us how.

Spotlight- Kieran Buckley

 Kieran Buckley:

Founder & Artist at Big Bucks Art Kieran Buckley, the creative force behind Big Bucks Art and our ghost logo, combines a passion for street and comic book art. During the lockdowns, Kieran rekindled his love for creating art, and in 2022, with the gift of an Apple Pencil from his wife, he began experimenting with digital mediums. This new creative journey led him to explore vibrant, dynamic works that blend street art aesthetics with comic book imagery. Kieran’s art initially found an audience through local PTA event promotions at his children’s school, game day information for his basketball team, and comic book fan forums. The positive feedback and support from friends and family encouraged him to launch Big Bucks Art on Instagram in 2023. What began as a platform to share his work quickly grew into a fledgling business, with formal requests for bespoke illustrations and logos. At Big Bucks Art, Kieran creates custom, high-quality digital illustrations that capture the imagination and bring ideas to life, offering clients unique pieces that stand out. From personalised art commissions to distinctive logos, Kieran’s pieces resonate with comic book fans, street art enthusiasts, and businesses alike. Kieran’s goal with Big Bucks Art is to continue sharing his passion, creating bold, expressive pieces that inspire and connect with people in new and exciting ways.
